Air Conditioning in a small Dublin office

Published on 10th Jul 2013 at 09:45 by Admin

When we installed the air conditioning in our office at Reliant Engineering it was for heating.  Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine we would use it on cooling.  However, while the temperature rises outside our office is kept at a cool 21 degrees C.

Research has shown an optimal office temperature of between 21 and 23 degrees C provides the best air temperature for maximum office worker productivity.  A month long Cornell University study conducted in the headquarters of a large American insurance company found that the number of typing errors fell by 44% and typing output increased by 150% when the office temperature was kept between 21 and 23 degrees.  The study also suggests that a more comfortable ambient temperature saves employers $2 per worker per hour.  A sizeable amount when multiplied over a year - be it for one worker or one hundred workers.

Air conditioning is economical to run and has the added advantage over gas, oil and wood stove burners in that it can be used for heating or cooling and has filters for removing smells and dust particles from your home or office.  Call us today for a quotation for your kitchen, conservatory, home office or work place.

Testimonials

"I would have no hesitation in recommending the Toshiba Daiseikai for home heating. Also, although not called for too often in this country, on the odd occasion when we have held parties in our home, and the kitchen heats up too much, we put the Daisekai on cooling which works extremely well."

Ray Pugh

"Since we have had the air-con unit installed, we can either heat the conservatory or cool it at the touch of a button in a matter of minutes. We are finally able to use the room that we never could!"

Claudine Laurence, Santry

"We would be delighted to recommend Alan and the lads from Reliant Engineering for installing air-conditioning. We found them to be polite, timely, courteous, and most importantly extremely clean whilst working."

"Since its installation I’ve seen a huge reduction in my gas bills, no need to have the gas heating on in the morning for the whole house, just set the AC timer to come on an hour before we get up."

Ray Pugh

"While working for us, we found the employees of Reliant very efficient and would have no hesitation in recommending the company for air-conditioning installations."

Claudine Laurence, Santry

"The staff were very efficient and completed the job quickly and smoothly. The air conditioning has been invaluable to us, improving our working conditions so much we only regret not having done it earlier. Overall, we thoroughly recommend Reliant Engineering to anyone considering to install air conditioning."
